Thumb-sucking

Well, Justice finally discovered his thumb!! I think he really enjoys the suction power he has on that one finger as opposed to trying to suck on his entire fist. I love how he’s holding his thumb in place with his other hand!
However, it’s still pretty hit and miss with the thumb – he continues to enjoy many different finger combinations! He often enjoys a 1-2 combo (thumb and pointer), or a 1-2-3 combo, or as seen in the pictures below, the 3-4, the 4-5, and the 3-4-5. 
The purple moustache is from our recent attempt at Gentian Violet to see if it will cure some breast pain I’ve been having.

I love these shots. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any baby have so many sucking combos.
I hope that his tooth pokes through soon. I remember many unhappy moments of pain for Eli before his bottom teeth poked out around 5 months. Nighttime Orajel works great (http://www.orajel.com/products/baby/teething/pm.htm). You can by it at Walmart.
